Parkside Guest House

COVID-19 Health & Safety Planning

We are actively preparing for resumed operations in 2021, with a keen eye to ongoing developments in public health, policy, and tools and understanding related to COVID-19.  As always, the health and safety of our guests and staff remains paramount.

We appreciate your understanding that the situation, and therefore any planned response, remains dynamic. Over the coming months, we will continue to monitor public health and industry guidelines and update these policies as is warranted.

VACCINATION

We are requiring all guests to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by the time of their stay for the 2021 season. We recognize that not all individuals are able to be vaccinated. For children under 12, adults ineligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine for medical reasons, and for adults who have only begun, but not completed, their vaccination series we will require negative results from a molecular-based COVID-19 test within 72 hours of arrival.

FACE MASKS AND GENERAL MITIGATION PROTOCOLS

Face masks will be required at all times, except while in your room.

Separate travel parties will be expected to socially distance inside the house.

We will use HEPA air filtration and increase ventilation in our common spaces. High touch surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected frequently throughout the day.

HEALTH SCREENINGS UPON ARRIVAL

It is our expectation that anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or who has had known exposure to the virus notify our staff immediately. Health screenings may be conducted upon arrival. Our staff will help you find alternate accommodations should you feel sick or have knowingly been exposed.

BREAKFAST

A continental breakfast will be delivered to your room or available to go.

HOUSEKEEPING

Rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between parties.

WHAT IF A MEMBER OF MY PARTY TESTS POSITIVE PRIOR TO OUR SCHEDULED STAY?

In the event of a positive test by a member of your party between 1 and 21 days prior to arrival, we will work with you to reschedule or refund your reservation, at your option.  Verifiable proof of a positive test within the specified timetable must be presented.
